StickerFix

StickerFix™ , a do-it-yourself (DIY) repair and protection solution from AkzoNobel Car Refinishes, makes life much easier for car owners who’d like to get rid of minor scratches or protect vulnerable door edges from annoying but virtually inevitable nicks and scratches that are the bane of a car owner’s existence. StickerFix is an adhesive DIY repair system using patented AkzoNobel paint technology in combination with a specially developed vinyl sticker.

With StickerFix, when a customer brings a vehicle into a bodyshop for a repair, the repair specialist can match the car owner’s vehicle color and spray the color onto an adhesive vinyl sheet in combination with the repair paint job. After adding a clearcoat to the vinyl sheet and then cutting the sheet into specific shapes, the customer has a DIY repair system which can be applied to damaged or vulnerable parts. The system can also be produced in standard colors and sold over the counter at the dealer service department. StickerFix will be sold in a specially developed transparent package of A5 (half page) sheets. StickerFix is now available in Europe.
